Lady Blue -- sultry vocals, screaming guitar, and a tight, dynamic rhythm section -- "listenable to the extreme!"
Lady Blue, a polished and professional band based in New Jersey, has been playing classic rock, blues rock, and R&B in the NY/NJ/PA area for over 15 years and has earned some impressive credentials. Their captivating stage presence appeals to a wide variety of audiences, from sophisticated adults to college students. They have performed at some of the best clubs and venues in the tri-state region, such as the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel NJ, The Stanhope House in Stanhope NJ, the Rock’N Chair in Avalon NJ, the Crossroads Bar & Café in Asbury Park, and The Great Notch Inn in Little Falls NJ (voted best roadhouse by Blues Revue magazine), just to name a few. They were featured at the Blues Brews & BBQs festival at Six Flags Great Adventure for two consecutive years, the Musconetcong River Blues Festival, Wine, Women & Song Festival in Philipsburg, Alba Vineyards Music Festival, and the Endless Mountain Blues Festival in PA for two consecutive years. They earned the honor of opening these venues for BB King, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Tracey Nelson, Johnny Clyde Copeland, Eddie C. Campbell, Debbie Davies, and more.
Each member has been in the business over 20 years and it is evident in the stage presence, musicianship, and professionalism one enjoys as soon as they take the stage! This foursome has been together as Lady Blue for almost as long, just one of the remarkable aspects of this group and one of the main factors contributing to their tight, dynamic sound. The band does a fantastic job of warming up the crowd and once the Lady steps on stage, each audience member is guaranteed a truly entertaining evening!
Should one be curious as to the quality of this band, it only takes a single visit to one of their live performances to be convinced that they are “listenable to the extreme” and highly recommended by many classic, blues and original music reviewers in national syndication and on the internet.
